Your VIP account allows you to receive Regular e-mail, Text Messages (SMS), both, or none. On the VIP Registration page, check the selection boxes next to each option to activate or deactivate. If you do not select any e-mail options, you will still receive occassional e-mail from the RI Lottery and you will remain an active VIP member. You can login to your VIP account using the e-mail address that you registered under to update your User Preferences at any time to turn e-mail options on or off.
Not Receiving our CONFIRMATION E-mail:
The Confirmation email is used once to activate your VIP account. You must click the link inside the e-mail within 48 hours to activate your account. Do not respond to the e-mail. If you did not receive the e-mail, check your Spam/Junk email folder for our message and make sure to add, "info@rilot.com" to your address book or allowable e-mail list. Additionally, if you enter your e-mail address incorrectly while registering, you will not recieve our confirmation e-mail and will need to register again.
Not Receiving our DAILY Winning Numbers E-mail:
Check your Spam/Junk email folder for our messages and make sure to add, "WinningNumbers@rilot.com" to your address book or allowable e-mail list.
Trouble Logging In the first time:
Passwords are case sensitive. User names are your full email address that you registered under. If you forget your password, use our forgot password link. If you did not confirm your account within 48 hours of registering by clicking the Confirmation link inside the email we sent, you will not be able to log in. You must register again.
E-mail
Choose the "E-mail" option. Our e-mail will be displayed as either HTML or Text depending on your e-mail program settings. If your e-mail program is set Not to display HTML, our alternate Plain Text version will be displayed.
Text Messages
Choose the "Text Messages" option to receive text messages. You will receive SMS text messages.
To receive winning numbers messages to a mobile device, you need to know your mobile e-mail address. You can enable Text messages at a later time by logging into your VIP account and updating your User Preferences. Your mobile e-mail address is typically your ten digit mobile number followed by your provider's e-mail extension. Use our Provider List to find your providers e-mail extension. If you have problems receiving Text Messages, please contact your provider or visit their website to find the e-mail extension for your mobile device.
