$400,000 Rhode Island Keno Winner
A Warwick man just claimed a $400,000 winning Keno ticket. He played a one dollar ten spot bet and matched all ten numbers. The standard payout for this type of win is $100,000. However, this player opted to purchase the Keno Plus feature for an additional dollar on the wager, so the $100,000 prize was multiplied by four, that draw’s Keno Plus number, to equal $400,000.
The winner plans to invest most of his winnings in mutual funds as he did not yet have a retirement plan with his current employer. He also plans to take a trip with a small portion of the prize money. The $400,000 winning ticket was purchased from Oroba’s Conimicut Variety at 695 West Shore Rd, Warwick.
