$100,000 "Pinball Wizard" Instant Ticket Winner

July 18, 2013

$100,000 "Pinball Wizard" Instant Ticket Winner
Misplaced $20,000 "Loteria" Instant Ticket Found

A winning $100,000 "Pinball Wizard" Instant Ticket was claimed yesterday by a Woonsocket gentleman on his birthday. "Pinball Wizard" is a favorite game of his, and he happened to win a top prize of $100,000 on his birthday. He also enjoys playing the Daily Numbers and is hoping to get lucky with that game too. He plans to use his winnings when he retires in a few months.

He purchased the winning ticket at Great Road Lil General, 659 Great Rd., Smithfield.

Additionally, a gentleman from Fall River, MA, cashed in a winning $20,000 “Loteria” Instant Ticket that he received for Father’s Day from his daughter. He scratched it and saw that he’d won $20,000, but then misplaced the ticket. For weeks he searched high and low to no avail. He finally found the ticket in a drawer inside of his Father’s Day card. He plans to use the money to go on a cruise and pay bills.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms, 3166 East Main Rd., Portsmouth.

Finally, a Cranston woman claimed a winning $12,000 Keno Plus ticket. She doesn’t play Keno often and was surprised that she had won. She wagered $5 on a 6-spot quick pick ticket and hit all six numbers for a standard payout of $6,000. She also doubled her wager to add Keno Plus, so her prize was multiplied by 2 for a final total $12,000.  She plans to share the money with her family.

West Warwick Shell, 6 Providence St., West Warwick, sold the winning ticket.
