$10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket Claimed
$1 Million PowerBall® Ticket Remains Unclaimed

A gentleman from Providence has claimed the $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket from the drawing on Saturday, October 5. He has two children in daycare, and will use the winnings to help with that among other expenses.

The $10,000 PowerBall® ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If he had opted for PowerPlay®, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000. He purchased the ticket at Grasso's Service Center, 35 Plainfield St., Providence.

The $1 million PowerBall® ticket from the same draw remains unclaimed as of this morning.

Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $108 million.
