$10,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island
Ultimate Tailgate Party 2nd Chance Drawing
Last night's $70 million PowerBall® drawing resulted in a $10,000 winner in Rhode Island. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at Wickford Mini Mart, 684 Boston Neck Rd., Wickford. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
For those PowerBall® players who didn't win a prize, the Rhode Island Lottery is offering a second chance drawing for $10 or higher non-winning PowerBall® tickets. From now until February 10, 2014, players can log in to the Lottery's VIP Club and enter the serial numbers of their non-winning $10 or higher PowerBall® tickets for a second chance to win an Ultimate Tailgate Party Trip to the Pro Football Hall of Fame® in Cleveland, Ohio. Three winners, along with three of their guests, will have the opportunity to meet Pro Football's greatest all-time heroes and win up to $1 million.
Saturday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $87 million.
