$40,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® Winner
Two $20,000 "Lucky Times 20" Instant Ticket Winners
No one hit Saturday's estimated $60 million PowerBall® jackpot. However, a Lincoln man purchased a PowerBall® PowerPlay® Quick Pick ticket and ended up winning $40,000.
The winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000. However, since he added the PowerPlay® feature for an extra dollar, his prize was increased to $40,000. He plans to pay bills and put the rest in savings.
Colbea Enterprises, 1783 Old Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln sold the winning ticket.
Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $70 million.
Additionally, two $20,000 "Lucky Times 20" Instant Tickets have been claimed. A North Providence man purchased one of winning tickets at Cumberland Farms, 2064 Smith St., North Providence. A Chepachet man purchased the other winning $20,000 "Lucky Times 20" Instant Ticket at Colbea Enterprises, 370 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. He plans to fix his car, which ironically broke down today, and save the rest for his son.
