$10,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island
$10,000 PowerBall® & $20,000 Instant Ticket Claimed
A $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Saturday night's drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 5, Saturday's Power Play® number, to equal $50,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Twin River, 100 Twin River Rd., Lincoln. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
A $10,000 PowerBall® ticket from the February 19 $425 million drawing has been claimed by a gentleman from Lincoln. He purchased the ticket at Mineral Spring Liquor, 1005 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. There are still three more unclaimed $10,000 PowerBall® tickets from that draw.
Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $50 million.
Lastly, a gentleman from Warwick has won $20,000 playing the "$1,000,000 Scratch" Instant Ticket. Since the launch of this Instant Game, he usually buys one every Thursday, however this time he decided to purchase the ticket on Saturday and it paid off! He has no plans with the winnings but said it feels really good. He purchased the ticket at Buttonwoods One Stop, 214 Buttonwoods Ave., Warwick.
