$40,000 PowerBall® Power Play® Ticket Claimed
Warwick Man Wins Twice

March 4, 2014

$40,000 PowerBall® Power Play® Ticket Claimed
Warwick Man Wins Twice

The $40,000 PowerBall® PowerPlay® ticket from Saturday night's drawing has been claimed by a Warwick man.  He also won the $50,963 Wild Money jackpot this past September.  He plans to give some money to his children and use some for bills.  He plays the same numbers every time. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a standard payout of $10,000. However, since the player added the Power Play® feature for an extra dollar, the prize was multiplied by 4, Saturday's Power Play® number, to equal $40,000.

Stop & Shop, 2470 Warwick Ave., Warwick sold the winning ticket.

Wednesday's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $40 million.
