$200,000 and $10,000 PowerBall® Winners from Rhode Island
Although no one won the $120.6 million PowerBall® jackpot in Saturday night’s drawing, Rhode Island still had two big wins. PowerBall® tickets worth $200,000 and $10,000 were sold for that drawing.
The $200,000 winning ticket matched all five numbers, but not the PowerBall® number. The $10,000 winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. Neither player opted to purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager, which would have multiplied their winnings by two, Saturday’s PowerPlay® number, to equal $400,000 and $20,000.
Rite Aid on Willett Avenue in Riverside sold the $200,000 winning PowerBall® ticket. The $10,000 winning ticket was purchased from the Hess Express, at 2400 West Shore Rd., Warwick. The $10,000 prize was claimed first thing this morning by a very excited Warwick man. The $200,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
Wednesday’s estimated jackpot is $136 million.
