Winners, Winners, Winners Big Prizes Claimed for Instant Games, Keno, and PowerBall®
Rhode Island Lottery players keep on winning as we’ve had four big prizes hit this week.
Instant Games An East Providence man came in to claim his $75,000 prize from the Pinball Wizard Instant Ticket. He bought the ticket from Airport Liquors at 1800 Post Rd., Warwick. As of this morning, he hadn’t had a chance to figure out what he wanted to do with the winnings, but said his wife and daughter will have no problem finding ways to spend the money.
Keno Also, this week, there was a $12,000 Keno prize claimed by a Pawtucket woman. She played a $2 wager for the 6 spot game, which pays out $2,400. She also selected the Keno Plus feature and the 5 multiplier came up, turning her winnings into $12,000. The winning ticket was purchased at Seaplane Diner on Allens Avenue in Providence.
PowerBall® There were also two $10,000 winning PowerBall® tickets sold this week. The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold from the Mobil Food Mart on Kingstown Road in Peacedale. Pontiac Food Mart on Pontiac Avenue in Cranston sold the other winning ticket. Neither prize has been claimed.
Both $10,000 tickets matched the first four numbers, but not the PowerBall® number, for the standard payout of $10,000. Neither $10,000 winner purchased the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on their wager. If they had, their $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by whatever the PowerPlay® number for that draw was.
The estimated jackpot for Saturday’s drawing is $20,000,000.
