A $10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket and $20,000 Wild Money Ticket Claimed

A Tiverton man claimed $10,000 on a PowerBall® ticket from the August 12th draw. The quick pick ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. He and his wife plan to split the money won among their three daughters, giving each an equal portion. The winning ticket was purchased at Step by Step Mart Inc., 429 Main Rd., Tiverton. Tonight's estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $80 million.

A Cumberland woman claimed $20,000 on a Wild Money ticket from the July 28th draw. The woman said she felt overwhelmed by her win. She stated that she has been playing the game for years and the moment she realized she won she had an out of body experience. She doesn’t have any specific plans yet, but she is sure that she will be sharing her win with her family. The winning ticket was purchased at JB Liquors, 1100 Social St., Woonsocket. Tonight’s estimated Wild Money jackpot is $56,000.
