A $20,000 BINGO Winner, $10,000 PowerBall Winner and $10,000 Keno Winner
A Cranston man claimed a $20,000 Bingo win. He matched the diamond pattern on a $2 Bingo wager, which resulted in a $20,000 winning ticket. He said he had his son check his ticket about five times and couldn't believe that he won until it was confirmed at the Lottery. When the lottery staff member stated he won $20,000, both men looked flabbergasted. His son knew his father had won, but hadn't realized how much. The gentleman was extremely excited and grateful about his win. He does not have any specific plans yet for the winnings. The winning ticket was purchased at Stop & Shop, 200 Atwood Ave., Cranston.
A Chepachet woman claimed the $10,000 PowerBall® ticket sold in Rhode Island for the January 28th, 2015 drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The woman said that she was overwhelmed when she recently found the ticket. She plans to utilize the money won to pay bills and pay for her child's music lessons. The winning ticket was purchased at A&G Fuel Depot, 644 Putnam Pike, Smithfield.
A Slatersville man claimed a $10,000 Mutli Chance Keno win. He wagered $1.00 on a 10 spot Keno game and added the Multi Chance feature. He matched 9 out of the 10 numbers to win $10,000. The gentleman won the same day, on the same game, playing the same numbers at the same retailer as the $20,000 Multi Chance Keno winner from Pawtucket. Therefore, Capital Gulf, 201 Smith St., Providence sold $30,000 worth of winning Multi Chance Keno tickets within one day!
