$10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket Claimed

The $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket sold in Rhode Island for Saturday’s $49.7 million PowerBall® drawing has been claimed. 
 
Eugene LaSalle, from Riverside, RI, picked up his prize this afternoon and said he’s already told everyone he won and his wife has plans for the money. 
 
He bought the winning one dollar quick pick ticket from Riverside Liquors on Bollocks Point Avenue in Riverside. 
 
The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a $10,000 prize.  LaSalle did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by two, Saturday’s Power Play® number, increasing the prize to $20,000. 
 
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $59 million.
