$25,000 a Year for Life Lucky for Life™ Winner Now Set for Retirement
A West Warwick man cashed in a winning Lucky for Life™ ticket worth $25,000 a year for life from Monday night’s drawing. He is the fifth Rhode Islander and second West Warwick resident to win the $25,000 a year for life Lucky for Life™ prize. His ticket matched all five numbers but not the Lucky Ball to win the second-tier prize of $25,000 a year for life. However, the man opted for the cash option, a one-time lump sum payment of $390,000.
The man explained that he purchases two Lucky for Life™ Quick Pick tickets every week from the same retailer. He went back to the retailer to check his ticket the day after the drawing, as he would any other Tuesday, and to his surprise was told he was a winner! He immediately raced to the Lottery Headquarters to claim his prize. He had not told anyone about his win yet, but intended on surprising his family that night. He plans to use the money won to pay off all his bills, purchase a new vehicle and truly enjoy retirement. He purchased the winning ticket at Breads N Stuff, 1669 Main St., West Warwick.
Drawings are held every Monday and Thursday at 10:38pm and can be viewed on LuckyForLife.us.
