$50,000 “Platinum Payout” Winner

Pawtucket woman, Brooke Tavares, won $50,000 playing “Platinum Payout”, a Rhode Island Lottery instant ticket.  She came into the Rhode Island Lottery’s Validations office this morning to claim her $50,000 prize.  She bought the winning ticket from the Liquor Shoppe at 155 Broad Street, Pawtucket. 
 
After waiting all week to come in and claim her money, she’s had time to think of what she wants to do with the winnings.  She said she is going to pay off some bills and put the rest in the bank.
