Extraordinarily High Daily Numbers Payout

Last night’s Daily Numbers drawing paid out a remarkable 226%.  The Rhode Island Lottery awarded $155,927 worth of prizes, while taking in $68,768 in net sales.  There were a total of 34 tickets sold with a prize value of $2,604 and 13 tickets with a prize of $2,500.

The popular winning combination drawn was 1 9 5 3. 

The Validations office has been busy all day with more than 20 of the big winners coming in.  One woman from Chapachet claimed $10,000 because she played two $2 combo bets to win $5,000 each.  She played the number because it was her husband’s birthday.  Food ‘N’ Fuel on Hartford Avenue in Johnston sold her the winning ticket. 

The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
