$10,000 Winning PowerBall® Ticket Claimed
The $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket sold in Rhode Island for the $42.4 million PowerBall® drawing on November 15 has been claimed. The Bellingham, Mass., resident came in to the Lottery to claim his winning quick pick ticket today. He plans to use that money for bills and vehicle repairs. The rest of his winnings will go into a savings account for next year. The winning ticket was purchased from Shaw’s Supermarket, 1500 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a $10,000 prize. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by two, Saturday’s Power Play® number, increasing the prize to $20,000. Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $50 million.
