PowerBall® and Instant Ticket Winners

$10,000 was a popular prize amount given away by the Rhode Island Lottery yesterday.  There was a $10,000 PowerBall® and a $10,000 Baseball Instant Ticket winner. 

A Warwick man claimed the $10,000 PowerBall® prize from Wednesday night’s $51,300,000 drawing.  The winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a $10,000 prize.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by four, Wednesday’s Power Play® number, increasing the prize to $40,000. 

The lucky winner purchased his ticket from Hess Express at 764 Tiogue Ave., Coventry. 
 
Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $61 million.
 
The winning continued with another very excited Warwick man claiming a $10,000 winning Baseball Instant Ticket. That winning ticket was purchased from Whalen Square Cafe on West Shore Road in Warwick.
