$500,000 Instant Ticket Claimed
$15,308 Daily Numbers Win & Three $10,000 Winners
A Warwick man claimed the last $500,000 "Cash Spectacular" Instant Ticket top prize. The $500,000 will be awarded as an annuity, paid over 20 years. He does not have any immediate plans for the money won. He purchased the winning ticket at his "favorite retailer," Marty's Liquors, 945 Namquid Dr., Warwick.
Additionally, the May 29, 2016 evening Daily Numbers drawing gave many Rhode Island Lottery players something extra to celebrate over the holiday weekend. The winning numbers drawn – 1 0 2 6 - paid out 415%. The Lottery took in $42,708 in net sales and paid out $177,439 in prizes.
A Cranston man was one of those lucky winners. He wagered $16 on (3) $2 two-digit straight bets, (2) $1 combo bets, and (3) $2 four-digit straight bets. He matched all four digits in the exact order to win $15,000, matched two digits in the exact order to win $100, and won $208 on a $1 combo bet. He said he enjoys playing the Numbers game and tries out different number and wager combinations weekly. He plans to save the money won. Colbea Enterprises, 2025 Post Rd., Warwick, sold the winning ticket.
Furthermore, an Exeter woman claimed a $10,000 "Bingo Mania" Instant Ticket top prize. She plans to use the money won to pay some bills. She purchased the winning ticket at Exeter Exxon, 561A South County Trail, Exeter. This same Retailer sold a $30,000 winning Daily Numbers Ticket in May.
A lucky Smithfield man claimed a $10,000 "Silver Star" Instant Ticket top prize and plans to use the money for his daughter's wedding. Speedway, 263 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, sold the winning ticket.
A Central Falls man claimed a $10,000 Bingo win. He matched the diamond pattern on a $1 Bingo wager, which resulted in a $10,000 winning ticket. He plans to use the money to go on a vacation. The winning ticket was purchased at LR Mart, 390 Broad St., Central Falls.
