Group of Nurses Claim $50,000 PowerBall® Prize
$10,000 Instant Ticket Prize Claimed

A group of eight nurses claimed the $50,000 PowerBall® prize from the September 10th draw. Their winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number to win $50,000. They did not purchase the PowerPlay® feature, which would have multiplied the prize by 2, the PowerPlay® number for that draw, to win $100,000 instead of $50,000. The majority of the group plans to pay some bills with the money won. 7-Eleven, 535 Reservoir Ave., Cranston sold the winning ticket.

A woman from North Providence claimed the last remaining $10,000 top prize for the $2 "7" Instant Ticket. She plans to pay for some of her daughter's college expenses with the money won. She purchased the winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, 823 Smithfield Ave., Lincoln.
