Friday's Daily Numbers Draw Paid Out 429%
$42,500 Keno Plus Win
The Daily Numbers Evening drawing for Friday, October 20, gave many Rhode Island Lottery players something to celebrate over the weekend. The lucky numbers drawn were 1 0 2 1, which paid out 429%. The Rhode Island Lottery paid out $211,440 worth of prizes and received $49,235 in net sales. A total of thirty-five winning tickets were sold with a prize value of $2,708 and a total of twenty-four winning tickets were sold with a prize value of $2,500.
One of the lucky winners, a man from Cranston, was eager to claim his $10,000 Daily Numbers win. He wagered $2 on a four-digit straight bet and matched all four digits in the exact order they were drawn to win $10,000. The winning number combination represents his granddaughter's birthdate. He plans to do something special for his granddaughter, who he refers to as his lucky charm, and save the remainder. Cumberland Farms, 1556 Post Rd., Warwick, sold the winning ticket.
Another winner from the October 20 draw was a woman from Smithfield who claimed her $10,000 Daily Numbers win today – her third $10,000 win since 2004. For this most recent win, she wagered $2 on a four-digit straight bet and matched all four digits in the exact order they were drawn to win $10,000. The winning number combination represents her cat's birthdate. She plans to put her winnings towards college expenses for her two sons. Stop & Go, 115 Pleasant View Ave., Smithfield, sold the winning ticket.
In addition, a Warwick woman won $42,500 playing Keno Plus on Sunday, October 22. She wagered $5 on a ten-spot game and matched nine out of ten numbers to win the standard prize payout of $21,250. Because she opted to play Keno Plus for an additional $1 towards her wager, her prize was multiplied by 2, the Keno Plus number for that draw, equaling $42,500. She plans to purchase a new car with her winnings. East Greenwich Fireman's Club, 80 Queen St., East Greenwich, sold the winning ticket.
