$95,447.50 Wild Money Jackpot Hit $10,000 PowerBall® Win
The jackpot for Rhode Island’s own progressive jackpot game, Wild Money, was hit on Thursday night making one lucky player $95,447 richer.
The winning ticket was bought from Public America at 1754 Mendon Road in Cumberland. The prize has yet to be claimed.
The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.
The Wednesday night $54.2 million PowerBall® drawing also had a $10,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, Wednesday night’s Power Play® number, to equal $40,000.
Paul’s Shell at 1036 Reservoir Ave., Cranston, sold the winning ticket. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $65 million.
