Big Winners in Keno, Daily Numbers and PowerBall®
Rhode Island Lottery continues to have big winners for Keno, Daily Numbers and PowerBall®.
Keno
A Providence woman claimed a $12,300 Keno prize last week. She played a $10 wager for the 5 spot game, which pays out $4,100. She also selected the Keno Plus feature and the 3 multiplier came up, turning her winnings into $12,300. The winning ticket was purchased at Felipe’s Convenience on Hartford Avenue in Providence.
Daily Numbers
A Providence family claimed $15,000 in Daily Number winnings when they brought in 3 $5,000 winning tickets. The winning number was 3 9 6 4 from the February 7, 2009, drawing. Barbosa Liquors on Narragansett Boulevard in Providence sold the winning tickets.
PowerBall®
There was also a $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket sold for Saturday night’s $130.4 million jackpot drawing. The winning ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold from Coventry Xtra Mart at 851 Tiogue Ave., Coventry. The prize has yet to be claimed. The ticket matched the first four numbers, but not the PowerBall® number, for the standard payout of $10,000. The winner did not purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by four, Saturday’s PowerPlay® number, to equal $40,000. The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $150,000,000.
