Three Rhode Islanders Are Going to Hollywood for a Chance to Play Deal or No Deal TM
Melanie Tatro, Pawtucket; Jennie Thompson, Woonsocket; and Todd Arlia, Slocum, are the second chance drawing winners for the Rhode Island Lottery’s Deal or No Deal™ instant ticket promotion.
The prize includes a 5 day, 4 night stay in Hollywood, with round-trip airfare for two and $500 in spending money. Once in Hollywood, the winners will participate in a random drawing to win additional prizes of at least $5,000 and find out who gets to play the Deal or No Deal™ game.
The Rhode Island Lottery launched its second edition of the Deal or No Deal™ instant ticket in September, 2007, based on the hit NBC series. Players enter their non-winning tickets in for second chance drawings. The first drawing took place on February 26, where three winners were selected to go to Hollywood and possibly play the real Deal or No Deal™ game to try and win $2.5 million dollars. Then, in September, another drawing will be held for players to win up to 2.5 million dollars so tickets are still on sale.
