$10,000 PowerBall® Winning Ticket Claimed
Keno Free Ride Prize About to Expire
The $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket sold in Rhode Island for the $32.5 million PowerBall® drawing on March 11 has been claimed. The ticket matched 4 numbers and the PowerBall® number for a standard payout of $10,000. The Pawtucket woman who won said she picked her own numbers to play, but that there wasn’t any reason or meaning to why she picked them. She plans to use the winnings to pay bills. Cumberland Farms at 193 Division Street in Pawtucket sold the winning ticket.
Although the PowerBall® winner didn’t wait long to claim her prize, there are some Keno Free Ride winners that are running out of time to claim their prizes. The winner of an unclaimed Keno Free Ride ticket with a $2,884 prize only has until March 24 to pick up the winnings. Sportsman’s Inn on Fountain Street in Providence sold the winning ticket. In addition, there are 17 other Keno Free Ride prizes, totaling $49,735, that have not been claimed since the game feature launched last March. Players can take their tickets to any Rhode Island Lottery Retailer and either use the self-ticket-checkers, or have the clerk check their ticket to see if it’s a winner.
