$194,311.30 Wild Money Jackpot Hit
Big PowerBall® & Instant Game Wins

The jackpot for Rhode Island’s own progressive jackpot game, Wild Money, was hit on Saturday night making one lucky player $194,311 richer.   

The winning ticket was bought from Stop & Shop at 3 Stilson Road in Richmond.  The prize has yet to be claimed.

The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. 

The Saturday night $70 million PowerBall® drawing also had a $10,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island.   The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, Saturday’s Power Play® number, to equal $40,000.

Twin River in Lincoln sold the winning ticket.  The $10,000 prize has not been claimed either.

Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $81 million.

There was also a big Instant Ticket winner in Rhode Island.  A Providence woman claimed $15,000 on a winning Crossword 25 ticket.  She said she plans to use the money to buy some new clothes and items for around the house.  Trinh Enterprise, at 1002 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, sold her the winning ticket.
