$20,000 Wild Money Jackpot Hit
$10,000 PowerBall® Prize Claimed

On the heels of the $194,311 Wild Money jackpot win, there was another win for Wild Money after last night’s drawing, this time for a $20,000 jackpot. 

The winning ticket was bought from Sandy Lane Market at 459 Sandy Ln., Warwick.  Both Wild Money jackpot prizes have yet to be claimed.

Wild Money is Rhode Island’s own progressive jackpot game, with drawings taking place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. 

In addition, the $10,000 winner from Saturday night’s $70 million PowerBall® drawing has been claimed by a man from Milford, Mass.   The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager.  If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, Saturday’s Power Play® number, to equal $40,000.

The winner said he’d use the money to pay for his children’s college education.  He bought the winning quick pick ticket from Twin River in Lincoln.
 
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $81 million.
