$21,370 Win Turns into a Free Ride
$10,416 Daily Numbers® Winner

A man from Blackstone Mass., wins a “free ride” as he plans to use his prize money for a vacation.  The winner just came back from a trip to Florida, when he happened to hit the Keno Free Ride jackpot last Thursday for $21,370.  He had played a $2 Keno wager, so he automatically got a set of quick pick numbers to match and win the Keno Free Ride jackpot.  He’s not sure if he’ll use his winnings to go back to Florida since he has family there, or if he’d like to explore another part of the world.  Charley’s Place, Inc., at 158 First Ave., Woonsocket, sold the winning ticket. 

Furthermore, Ronald Marrocco Jr., of Cranston, came to the Lottery Validations office with his wife to claim his $10,416 winning Daily Numbers® prize.  He had played a $2 combo bet, so he won $10,000 for the numbers coming in straight and $416 for his box bet.  The lucky number combination was 4 7 0 1, the date of their anniversary.  The first thing they did with their winnings was buy tickets to the U-2 concert, his wife’s favorite band.  They also plan to visit friends in Florida and travel to Washington D.C. to do some sight-seeing.
