$10,000 PowerBall® Winners in Rhode Island

There’s nothing scary about $10,000, which Bonnie Roberts (photo attached), from Charlestown, RI, can confirm. Roberts won $10,000 on the October 24 PowerBall® drawing. She claimed her prize this week when she took the day off of work to celebrate, and hadn’t yet decided what to do with her winnings. She bought her ticket from Ocean State Liquors in Westerly.

There was another $10,000 winning ticket sold for last night’s drawing from Wyoming Package Store on Main Street in Richmond. This ticket and Roberts’ ticket matched 4 numbers and the PowerBall® number, winning a standard payout of $10,000. For just $1 extra, these winners could have played the Power Play® feature and multiplied their winnings up to five times.
