$149,084 Wild Money Jackpot Hit Daily Numbers Paid Out 325%
The jackpot for Rhode Island’s own progressive jackpot game, Wild Money, was hit on Saturday night making one lucky player $149,084 richer. The winning ticket was bought from Dairy Land Farm at 723 Quaker Lane in West Warwick. The prize has yet to be claimed. The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. Tuesday’s estimated Wild Money jackpot is $20,000.
Last night’s Daily Numbers drawing paid out a remarkable 325%. The Rhode Island Lottery awarded $199,286 worth of prizes, while taking in $61,413 in net sales. There were a total of 31 tickets sold with a prize value of $2,708 and 16 tickets with a prize of $2,500. The popular winning combination drawn was 1 2 1 4.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
The $10,000 PowerBall® winner from last Wednesday’s drawing claimed his prize this morning. The winner was from Charlestown, RI, and said he plans to use the winnings for Christmas presents. The winning ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a $10,000 prize. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, his $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by five, last Wednesday’s Power Play® number, increasing his prize to $50,000. He bought his winning ticket from the Wyoming Package Store at 1199 Main St., Richmond.
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $66 million.
