Million Dollar Raffle $10,000 Early Bird Ticket Claimed
The first $10,000 Early Bird winning ticket for the Rhode Island Lottery’s Million Dollar Raffle Game has been claimed by a man from Little Compton. The drawing took place on October 22 and the winning number was 0 1 6 4 2 9.
The winner went back to Elaine’s Country Store in Tiverton this week, since that’s where he usually buys his tickets, and saw the sign announcing they sold the winning ticket. So, he decided to pull out his ticket and check his numbers and couldn’t believe he was holding the $10,000 winning ticket.
There are four more Early Bird Drawings remaining, and then the Grand Prize Drawing taking place on New Year’s Eve. The next drawing for $10,000 will be held tomorrow. To be entered into the Early Bird and Grand Prize Drawings, players need only purchase a Million Dollar Raffle Ticket.
The $10,000 Early Bird winning numbers will be announced at Twin River at 8pm on the nights of the drawings. Winners need not be present to win, but if they are, Twin River will give them a Twin River prize pack consisting of a $100 Twin River gift card and tickets to an upcoming show.
The winning number for the million dollar prize on New Year’s Eve will also be announced at Twin River at 11pm. The additional winning numbers for the ten thousand dollar and one thousand dollar prizes for that night, as well as all of the other winning numbers, will be posted to the Rhode Island Lottery’s website, www.rilot.com.
The $20 tickets went on sale, Sunday, October 4. With only 120,000 tickets available for sale again this year, the odds of winning $1 million are still the best in New England. Last year, all 120,000 tickets sold out before the Grand Prize Drawing, so players should buy early before they’re gone. More information on the Million Dollar Raffle and all of the drawing dates can be found at www.rilot.com.
