3rd $10,000 Million Dollar Raffle Early Bird Ticket Claimed Plus $10,000 PowerBall® and Daily Numbers winners
A Warwick man claimed the third $10,000 Early Bird winning ticket for the Rhode Island Lottery’s Million Dollar Raffle Game first thing this morning. The drawing took place on November 19 and the winning number was 0 2 4 5 8 0.
The winning ticket was sold from Sunoco at 425 Quaker Ln., West Warwick. The winner plans to put the money in the bank and use some for Christmas shopping. He said there couldn’t have been a better time of year to win.
There are two more Early Bird Drawings remaining, and then the Grand Prize Drawing taking place on New Year’s Eve. The next drawing for $10,000 will be held this Thursday, December 3. To be entered into the Early Bird and Grand Prize Drawings, players need only purchase a Million Dollar Raffle Ticket.
In addition, there were two $10,000 PowerBall® winners for Saturday night’s PowerBall® drawing. Both tickets matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number for a standard payout of $10,000. Neither player opted to purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If they had, their $10,000 prizes would have been multiplied by five, Saturday’s PowerPlay® number, to equal $50,000.
The winning tickets were sold from Gold Mart on Newport Avenue in Pawtucket and Cumberland Farms at 478 Broad St., Central Falls. Neither prize has been claimed. Wednesday’s estimated jackpot is $20 million. Lastly, a $10,000 Daily Numbers prize was claimed from the November 7 drawing. The winner played a $2 wager on a four-digit straight bet. The winning number was 1 3 3 3. Rick’s Liquors on Broadway in Pawtucket sold the winning ticket.
