$20,000 and $10,000 Instant Winners in Rhode Island

Rhode Island Lottery players are winning big instantly! Victorino Santos, Central Falls, won $20,000 playing the Lucky Times 20 instant game from Sunshine Market, 181 Washington St., Central Falls.

Another player scratched the Monopoly instant ticket and won $10,000. John Anello of Bellingham, Mass., was working the overnight shift last night when he scratched the winning numbers. He called his wife at 5 a.m. to tell her, which prompted her to get out of bed! He joked that his wife, three kids, and probably even his dog will get some money and he’ll get whatever is left. But first things first, he’s bringing his two coworkers pizza or subs for dinner tonight.

Colbea Enterprises, 457 Benefit St., Providence, sold the winning ticket.
