Three $10,000 PowerBall® Tickets & Last $10,000 Million Dollar Raffle Prize Claimed $9,493 Keno Free Ride Winner in Rhode Island
Two friends from Lincoln, RI, came in to the Lottery today to claim one of the four $10,000 winning PowerBall® prizes from last night’s drawing. They used the numbers from their birthdates to pick the lucky combination. One of the winners plans to give some of the money to her daughter who lives in Florida. The other winner is unsure of how he’ll use the prize. East Providence Lanes sold the winning ticket. Shortly after they left, two more people came in to claim their Powerball® winnings. A young man from Riverside won $10,000 on PowerBall® from Cumberland Farms, East Providence and a Centrals Falls native also won $10,000 from Powerball® at Broadway Convenience, Pawtucket. Both of these winners played their own numbers too!
Furthermore, the final $10,000 Million Dollar Raffle ticket was claimed by a Warwick woman today. She plans on saving her winnings for something she and her boyfriend can enjoy, like a vacation. The winning ticket was sold from Cheapskate’s on Warwick Ave., Warwick. To top it off, David Maher, a gentleman from West Kingston, won $9,493 playing Keno Free Ride at Wyoming Package Store, 1199 Main St., Richmond. Maher doesn’t typically play but decided to give it a shot after his friend won $50 playing the same game. He couldn’t believe he won (neither could his friend), and plans on using it towards a down payment on his first house.
