$200,000 PowerBall® Winner in Rhode Island
A $200,000 winning ticket was sold in Rhode Island for Saturday night’s $96,500,000.00 PowerBall® drawing. The ticket matched five numbers but not the PowerBall® number. If this player had opted to purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager, they would have won $1,000,000 automatically regardless of what Power Play® number was drawn.
The winning ticket was purchased at Cumberland Farms on Pawtucket Avenue in East Providence. The $200,000 prize has yet to be claimed. Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $114 million and Tuesday’s estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $112 million.
