$132,444 Wild Money Jackpot Claimed
The $132,444 jackpot from last night’s Wild Money drawing was claimed this afternoon.
Joseph Bouchard and his family from New Bedford, Mass., won the $132,444 Wild Money jackpot after randomly picking the winning numbers while at Elaine’s Country Store in Tiverton. He said he’s been playing the game for about five months now. Four months ago, he hit four out of five Wild Money numbers, winning $1,500 – but this time he matched all five: 21, 23, 27, 26, and 34. He plans on using some of the money for a down payment on a house in Florida, some to pay off his car, and some to put towards his credit card bills. “I’m going to play PowerBall® now!” he exclaimed while leaving with his winnings. The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. Thursday night’s estimated jackpot is $20,000.
