$40,000 & $10,000 Mega Millions® Winners in Rhode Island
Friday night’s $166 million Mega Millions® drawing yielded two very happy Rhode Island Lottery players.
The two big winners matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number, for a standard payout of $10,000. One player opted to purchase the Megaplier® option for an extra dollar on the wager, which multiplied the $10,000 prize by four, Friday’s Megaplier® number, to equal $40,000. The other winner missed out on the extra $30,000 by not playing the Megaplier®. The two prizes have not been claimed.
The $40,000 winning ticket was sold from Colbea Enterprises at 7025 Post Rd., North Kingstown. The $10,000 winning ticket was sold from Stop & Shop at 622 George Washington Hwy., Lincoln. Tuesday’s estimated jackpot is at $191 million.
