Power Ball® Power Play® 10X Multiplier is BACK!!!
Players Can Win up to $2,000,000
The Rhode Island Lottery will once again be running the PowerBall® Power Play® 10X promotion. During the month of May, Rhode Island Lottery players will have the chance to win 10 times the standard payouts on any non-jackpot PowerBall® prizes, up to $2 million.
The Power Play® feature instituted in 2001, allows PowerBall® players to multiply their non-jackpot winnings 2, 3, 4 or 5 fold for only 1 additional dollar per 1 dollar wager. The Power Play® wheel, spun at every PowerBall® drawing, has 16 slots designated for 4 of each multiplier, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The number selected determines the times a non-jackpot prize is multiplied.
Starting May 1st, one of the number 5s on the Power Play® wheel will be replaced with a 10. The 10 multiplier will remain on the wheel through May 29. However, if it is not selected in this time period the 10 will stay in play until it is hit. This Power Play® 10X promotion gives non-jackpot PowerBall® winners a chance to collect up to $2,000,000 in prize money without even hitting the jackpot.
The 10X promotion was a huge success in previous years. It helps players become more aware of the Power Play® feature, which is not offered in every PowerBall® state, and its benefits.
