$10,000 Mega Millions® Winner from Warwick

The $10,000 winning ticket from Tuesday night’s $266,000,000 Mega Millions® drawing was just claimed. Michael McCabe of Warwick was thrilled when he found out he won. He just started to play Mega Millions® 3 weeks ago. The ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. “I wish I played the Megaplier®” McCabe exclaimed. If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 3 to equal $30,000.

McCabe bought his winning ticket from Williams Shields Post at 612 West Shore Rd. in Warwick. His daughter is getting married in June and he plans on using some of his winnings towards that.
