Mega Millions® Mystery Giveaway

The Rhode Island Lottery will be hosting a Mega Millions® Mystery Giveaway from June 1st – June 30th. With every Mega Millions® Megaplier® purchase, Lottery players will have the chance to win a free Mega Millions® ticket that will print out of the Lottery terminals at random. They will know their free Mega Millions® Quick Pick is on the way when the terminal plays a “Woo Hoo” sound. Additionally, the purchased Mega Millions® tickets will have “Free Ticket to Follow” written on them. Players will never know when or where the free ticket will print….it’s a mystery!
Plus, the Rhode Island Lottery will conduct promotions at retailer locations throughout the state for the duration of the promotion. They’ll have a “jackpit” set up with Mega Millions® and PowerBall® balls inside that have prizes associated with them. With every $4 Mega Millions® Megaplier® ticket purchased during the promotion, players can select a ball to uncover what they’ve won. Prizes consist of Paw Sox tickets, Paw Sox hats, T-shirts, instant tickets, and even IPod Shuffles! With every purchase, players are guaranteed to win at least a $1 instant ticket and a Mega Millions® or PowerBall® stress ball.

Mega Millions® came to Rhode Island on January 31, 2010. The base jackpot starts at $12 million. Mega Millions® drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 p.m. and PowerBall® drawings continue to take place on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59p.m.
