$31,158 Winning Wild Money Ticket Claimed

With hands shaking, a North Providence man claimed the $31,158 jackpot hit in Saturday’s Wild Money drawing. 

The lucky winner bought his ticket from Twin Oaks at 100 Sabra St., Cranston. He said he plays a $5 quick pick every drawing for Wild Money and has won the smaller prizes before, but this is his first big jackpot win. He plans to put the money away so he’ll have a nice safety net if he ever needs it. 

Wild Money is Rhode Island’s progressive jackpot game with drawings taking place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm. Tuesday night’s estimated jackpot is $20,000.
