$75,000 Daily Numbers Winner

Back in January, The Daily Numbers paid out a remarkable 470% awarding $287,980 worth in prizes. Today, a gentleman from Providence came in to claim his $75,000 from that drawing.

He was holding on to his three winning tickets until he opened his new business. For now, he plans on banking it. He rarely plays, but felt lucky that day. He played a $5 wager on a 4-digit straight for each. The winning combination was 1 9 1 9 sold at El Bombazo Market in Providence. And no, he’s not 91 years old! There was no significance to his number choice.

The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 p.m. and at 6:29 p.m. on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
