$15,000 Daily Numbers® Winner

A Providence gentleman came in to the Lottery Headquarters today with a huge smile. He won $15,000 playing the Daily Numbers.

The man decided to buy three separate tickets all using the same number combination, 0 9 4 5. He opted to play the 4-digit straight bet and his numbers came up in the exact order he played them. For a $1.00 4-digit straight bet, the prize payout is $5,000. Therefore, he won $5,000 on each of his three tickets for a total prize of $15,000.

The lucky winner bought his tickets from California Liquors on Union Avenue in Providence. He plans on using his prize money to go back to the Dominican Republic to visit his sister and save the rest for his family here.
