3 Days After Claiming $20,000 Daily Numbers Win, Player Hits Again!
James Buckner, North Providence, claimed a $20,000 winning Daily Numbers ticket on Monday, only to come back this morning to cash in a $10,000 winning Daily Numbers ticket from Tuesday’s drawing!
This time he played the winning number combination 4 4 8 5 on a $2 wager for a 4-digit straight bet. He said he played that number because he just had four people that he knew die in eight days. His uncle played the number 1 4 8 5 in the early 80’s for a similar reason and won big then, so James decided to follow suit. Cumberland Farms at 2643 Hartford Ave., Johnston, sold the winning ticket for Tuesday’s drawing. James is hopeful that he’ll be back to the Lottery tomorrow or next week since good things usually come in threes.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
