2 High Tier Daily Numbers® Winning Tickets Sold in Rhode Island $10,000 PowerBall Winner
The Rhode Island Lottery’s Daily Numbers® proved to be lucky numbers for two happy players.
Daisy Peratta from Providence claimed a $12,500 winning Daily Numbers prize on her $2 and $.50 4-digit combo bets. She always plays different numbers, but this time, the winning combination was 3 7 8 4. The ticket was purchased at Trinh Enterprises on Chalkstone Avenue in Providence.
At the same time, a Riverside man claimed $15,208 winning Daily Numbers tickets for yesterday’s drawing. The player bought his $1 4-digit straight bets and $.50 combo bets from Willet Farms on Willet Avenue in Riverside. His winning Numbers® combination, 9 4 6 7, was his shield number from when he was a New York police officer for 22 years. Both winners plan to use their winnings towards paying bills.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
There was also a $10,000 PowerBall® winning ticket sold for Saturday night’s drawing. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 2, Saturday’s Power Play® number, to equal $20,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at O’Neil’s Package Store on South Pier Road in Narragansett. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $35 million.
