Lucky Rhode Island Lottery Retailer: Plainfield Pike Mobil 2 $10,000 Prizes Sold in 15 Days
The Plainfield Pike Mobil in Johnston seems to be the store to go to for Mega Millions® and PowerBall® tickets. For last night’s drawing they sold a $10,000 winning Mega Millions® ticket, which has yet to be claimed. Furthermore, Peter Brewer from Scituate (photo attached) cashed in his $10,000 winning PowerBall® ticket from the October 13 draw that he purchased from the Plainfield Pike Mobil as well.
The Mega Millions® ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for the Megaplier®, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, last night’s Megaplier® number, to equal $40,000.
The winning PowerBall® ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number. The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000. Brewer did not purchase the PowerPlay® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, his $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by 4, the PowerPlay® number for that draw, to equal $40,000. Brewer joked that he was going to use the winnings to take his wife out to dinner.
The jackpots are growing for the upcoming draws with Friday’s estimated Mega Millions® jackpot at $140 million, tonight’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot at $72 million, and Thursday’s estimated Wild Money jackpot at $223,000.
