$10,000 Winners
First time Lottery player wins $10,000 on the Baseball Instant Ticket. The Attleboro man received the ticket as a gift and couldn’t believe when that present brought him a $10,000 windfall. The win comes at the perfect time, as he plans to use the money to take care of bills and will be able to enjoy the holidays.
The winning ticket was purchased from Ocean State Mobil on Elmwood Avenue in Cranston.
The $10,000 PowerBall® prize from Saturday night’s drawing was claimed first thing this morning by a Warwick man. He wants to keep his win a secret, except he has to tell his wife.
The Quick Pick ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall® number, for a $10,000 prize. The winner did not purchase the Power Play® feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If he had, the $10,000 prize would have been multiplied by five, that draw’s Power Play® number, increasing the prize to $50,000.
Anthony’s Drug Store on Manton Avenue in Providence sold the winning ticket.
Wednesday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $25 million.
