Rhode Island Lottery Pays Out
The Daily Numbers drawing this past Friday paid out 270%. The Rhode Island Lottery awarded $191,873 worth of prizes, while taking in $70,972 in net sales. There were a total of 27 tickets sold with a prize value of $2,500 and 33 tickets with a prize of $2,604 from Friday’s drawing.
The popular winning number combination drawn was 1 9 5 4.
So far, three big Daily Numbers winners have come forward. Two of the players won on the Friday night drawing, each cashing in 2 separate $5,000 winning tickets totaling $10,000 each. A Warwick man bought his tickets from Cheapskates on Warwick Avenue in Warwick. The other woman was a Cranston woman who bought one of her tickets from One Stop Shop on Oaklawn Avenue and the other one from A & B Mart on Pontiac Avenue. Both stores were in Cranston.
One Stop Shop also sold a $25,000 winning Daily Numbers ticket for the Saturday night drawing. The Cranston woman that bought that winning ticket made a $5 wager on a 4 digit straight bet.
The Daily Numbers drawings take place Monday through Saturday at 6:59 pm and at 6:29 pm on Sundays, live on WPRI-TV.
Saturday night also had a $10,000 winner in the PowerBall® drawing. The ticket matched 4 numbers and the PowerBall® number. Crossroads Wine & Spirits on Bulgarmarsh Road in Tiverton sold the winning ticket, which has not yet been claimed. The estimated PowerBall® jackpot for Wednesday night is $67 million.
