$45,000 Keno, $15,049 Keno Plus & $50,000 Sterling Silver Winners
Cupid’s arrow gave three Rhode Islanders a stroke of luck this Valentine’s Day.
A Providence man cashed in a $45,000 Keno ticket from Bahra’s Market in North Providence. He played a two dollar wager on a 7-spot game to win his big prize. He was very surprised when he found out how much he won and doesn’t know what he’ll do with it yet.
Then, Keno Free Ride turned one lucky player into a $15,049 winner. Alison Eisenberger of West Warwick cashed in a $15,049 Keno Free Ride ticket that she won at Brothers Oven Pizza in Warwick. The 85 year old woman was absolutely shocked when she found out she won. She and her daughter came in to the Lottery Headquarters this morning to claim the winning ticket. Alison played a five dollar wager and matched all seven of her numbers to win. She rarely plays, but was certainly glad she did yesterday!
Valentine’s Day ended with a surprise for a Cumberland woman. Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but in this case sterling silver was a good choice. She won $50,000 on the Sterling Silver Instant Ticket purchased from the Stop & Shop on George Washington Highway in Cumberland. She plans on using some of her winnings to fix her car and some towards paying off loans.
