Two Wild Money Tickets Hit the Jackpot
While the multi-state Mega Millions® and PowerBall® games have jackpots climbing to record breaking amounts, it was Rhode Island’s own in-state progressive jackpot game that saw big winners last night. The $90,078 jackpot for Wild Money was hit last night by two separate tickets so each winner will walk away with $45,039.

The ticket sold from the Car Wash King was just claimed by a woman from North Providence. She said she and her husband play the same numbers for every draw because they use their birthdays and their children and grandchildren’s birthdays. She said the win came at the perfect time because they’re going to Florida a week from today for a vacation.
The ticket purchased at Great Road Li’l General has not been claimed yet.
The Wild Money drawings take place three times a week: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, live on WPRI-TV at 7:29pm.
Saturday’s estimated Wild Money jackpot is $20,000; tonight’s estimated Mega Millions® jackpot is $312 million; and Saturday’s estimated PowerBall® jackpot is $125 million.
